Low-Income programs

There are several income qualifying programs available to help low-income residents save energy and receive discounts on their utility bills. For assistance in understanding which programs you may qualify for, contact Central Coast Energy Services by calling 1-888-728-3637. See below for program qualification requirement.

Is your household income less than the values in column #1 in the table below?

If so, with the permission of the homeowner, reduce your bill by upgrading your home’s energy efficiency at no cost:

WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

• Free on-site home inspection • No-cost energy efficiency improvements like installation of insulation, caulking and light bulbs, and replacement of appliances like refrigerators, water heaters and furnaces • Details at www.energyservices.org, apply at 1-866-728-3637 If so, and you have trouble paying your utilities bill or face immediate shutoff, get financial help:

HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (HEAP)

• Utility payment assistance of up to $307 once per year • Homes facing shutoff notices may receive fast help • Details at www.energyservices.org, apply at 1-866-728-3637

Is your household income less than the values in column #2 in the table below? If so, get a 20% discount on your energy bill with the

PG&E California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE)

• 20% discount on energy bill • Details at www.pge.com/care or 1-866-743-2273 If so, improve your home energy efficiency at no cost with

PG&E Energy Savings Assistance Program

Relief for Energy Assistance Through Community Help (REACH) Program

GRID Alternatives

PG&E Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) Program

Does someone in your household suffer from a serious medical condition? If so, receive no-cost solar panels through

PG&E Medical Baseline Allowance
